Looking into the Future
Today a lot of you guys are talking about money, the lack of jobs and the corrupt Illinois governor who called President-elect Obama a motherducker. What do you suppose you will be talking about a year from now?
Have a merry weekend and enjoy the catnip if you have it.
Sincerely,
Fred the Cat (the cat who loves you guys!)

Fred- just one look at you on the countertop there makes my day a much better one.
Thanks for being there for us!
fred
carlos asked me the same question this morning, i told him to eat his wellness and go back to bed
LOL
i hope we are NOT talking about bush a year from now and how things are starting to improve
Jeez, I'm glad I'm not the only one up obscenely early and/or late.
Hi Fred!
Hey Fred, I think we'll be moaning about how this depression is actually WORSE than "The Great" - but then I'm turning into a pessimist in my old age...
That is an excellent portrait of you, Fred.
A year from now? No one knows. I'm sure many things will still be a mess and there may be a new mess. Whatever it is, you can be sure Bill O'Reilly and his ilk will say it's all the Democrats' fault. That I can predict right now!
As long as there is catnip, life will be fine.

I'll be talking about you, Fred, and PoP and Mr. Pop. And how you guys make life better.
We'll be talking about how we let you cats take over. You were underfoot all this time planning to overthrow us just so you could win the war on string. You felines are soooooooo crafty.
Various manufactured scandals.
hey, Fred--
hopefully, we won't be talking about the Illinois gov whose name I can't spell. or the worsening depression. or the quagmire war.
beyond that, I've no clue.
have a wonderful, catnip-filled weekend.
btw-- this is OT, sorry:
I saw on CNN this morning, there's a new email scam out there.
if you receive email that supposedly comes from a federal agency-- delete it.
it's a new ID theft ring out to get your personal info.
so, be careful out there in the ether.
I think the massive reaction to Blagojevich's antics is a flash in the pan - 3 months from now nobody will remember who he is, except for us here in Illinois (which is why I can spell his name...)
Unless Limpbaugh decides to keep bringing it up.
I am going to hope that by this time next year we're going to hear about markets being up, speculators being driven out of the market, and jobs being IN-sourced to ON-shore companies because regulations have been put into place to protect workers and reward companies that hire Americans.
A year from now, we'll be swapping victory garden tips, so our 2010 veggies are better and more plentiful than those we grew in 2009.
A year from now, I think we'll be wondering if the economy has bottomed out yet. It seems likely that my guess will be "no".
Excellent question Fred... But I'll need at least six months to answer it. heh.
