Tea Baggin’

Okay, I will quickly admit that I had never heard the term “tea bagging” and it’s sexual connotation. I had to inquire as to exactly what it meant. Who knew? Now I know.

Anyway, I haven’t been paying too much attention to the right wingers as of late, but I have heard about their tea parties they have planned for Wednesday. Seems Fox is the only news channel promoting this activity. It also seems all wrong for a news channel to promote protests against the government. I did see that Fox News found at least one Democrat who said she will be attending one of these such parties.

I have another question about this tea bagging they are planning. What is it exactly they are protesting? Is it government spending or are they just venting because President Obama won the election last November? Are these protestors or just Mad Hatter’s, asking riddles to which they too have no answers?

They are mad because Obama wants to tax the rich a little more. Go figure.

These are the folks who are still afraid.

In many ways, I feel sorry for them. They really DO believe that President Obama all on his lonesome (or with Teddy) is going to stomp around taking away people's guns and paintball supplies, and then raise taxes on the retired folks until they're eating cat food in order to siphon off their money and give it to "welfare queens and drug dealers".

This is what the likes of BillO and AnnieBanannie and that fat guy with the oxycontin addiction have taught them, and they really do believe it.

Most of them, also, would be APPALLED to find out the double entendre of "teabagging".

I know my Dad would.

They are being led by the nose by the non patriots oxycontin boy and Glenn Beck who are just whipping up the ditto heads with lies about what the Dems and Obama are trying to do to fix the damage wrought by the GOP over the last decade. They are frustrated because everything they have been told is false and they are trying everything they can to not believe the evidence before their eyes. They are a lot like dogs who are bored and chase their tails just for something to do.

It is odd how much FOX is actively participating in organizing these things. It seems to me they've crossed some lines here but I'm just not sure which ones. One thing's for sure: they aren't reporting news but actively generating news and that's unethical at the very least.

Like the Dean, I am wondering if there aren't rules against what Faux Nooz is doing. Calling themselves a "news network" in itself is just false advertising on a grand scale; now they're actively fomenting protests against our government. How is that "fair and balanced" in ANY universe?

And I'm sure Faux will face the same widespread punishment as the politicizing Jesus pulpits have.

The first time I ever heard the term "teabagging" was during the course of the John Waters movie called "Pecker". I think it's hilarious that the Crazy Base people are using it to describe themselves!
This lot doesn't believe in any kind of social safety net, except in the case of the very rich ones, who accept corporate welfare quite readily. I've talked to a couple of them, and they don't seem to grasp that we all need to pitch in to keep things up and running. Cutting off their own noses to spite their faces, always.

I had heard the term before, but had to be reminded what it meant. I hope all of the bloggers putting out the alternative meaning is steaming up the Wingers in the crazyhood.

I want to mention also that NONE of these people seem to have any vague clue about the purpose of the original Tea Party (which I personally learned from School House Rock!) and they are just making themselves look more stupid by the minute.

as to your questions I think the answer is all of the above.
our local wingnut radio is even getting in on the action but then was busy patting down expectations about attendance because the people really mad had jobs and such and the war protesters were a bunch of freaking dirty hippies
or something like that

OK, I just Googled tea-bagging in the non-tax-related sense and found out what it meant. Who knew??

I couldn't believe the number of references to the dreaded BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

do these wingnuts -- uh people -- think the Rethuglican party would've let Obama get away with running if he weren't a citizen?

not to mention the Democrats who wouldn't dare let him run -- it'd be a ticket right back to the wilderness.

GET A LIFE ALL YOU BIRTH CERTIFICATE BASHERS!
