Oh, come on now
Wasn’t it foolish and bad enough when the Republicans came out with their first budget plan that amounted to nothing more than a pamphlet? I guess not because they opted to come out on April Fools Day with their real budget plan which was basically doing more of the same financially that didn’t exactly win over the voters last November.
Bottom line, if you are going to try to be serious when doing something stupid, don’t plan to do it on April Fools Day.

Great conclusion, Pop! That was a wonderful line!
I wondered why they would introduce anything on April 1st. They ought to just make it a legislative holiday.
Tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts. Sheesh. They need to come up with something that might actually work! They aren't even smart enough to release a proposal on a day other than April 1. Hehehe!
Hope you and yours are doing well. Some rather sad news re. one of our kitties, but we are doing o.k.
April Fools is right.
Timing doesn't seem to be the GOP's forte. Neither does economics, come to think of it.
from here, it looks like they're working very hard to develop a clown school.
somehow, though, I don't think there's enough white pancake makeup in the world to cover that bunch.
