Cones, in and out

This is my Tuesday post.

You may be reading this on Tuesday but I am posting it Monday night. We are in the cone of tropical storm/hurricane anxiety and I don’t know if we will have electricity Tuesday morning. The weather dudes are saying that most likely we won’t.

I guess you have heard by now that for the first half of Obama’s questions from Rev. Warren last Saturday night, McCain was not even at the church yet but instead on his way to the event. This means he was not “in the cone of silence” as Warren had said he would be. Think this gave McCain the possibility of being clued in on some of the questions?

So McCain wasn’t in the cone he should have been in and I’m in the cone that I don’t want to be in. It’s just not fair sometimes.

I’ll update this post later in the day, Tuesday, if I can.

I sure hope you stocked up on milk and white bread! If you didn't, you probably won't survive.

(I didn't so I'm living life on the edge.)

Oh gosh. Stay safe. I keep a good thought that you'll still have electricity.

And in case you didn't hear, now Rick Warren is backtracking on the cone of silence thing. That was just some silly reference. No big deal. Sheesh. Damned liberals. Soooooo bloody literal.

This cone of silence seems to have worked about as well as that one, Annie. Makes me wonder if Warren had a feeling about how it would work out.

Stay safe down there, POP, Mr. POP, and Fred.

hey, PoP--
I'm not sure where you are in FL.
if Tampa's tendency to dodge the bullet sent the storm your way, I'm so sorry. . . .

I hope you manage to stay dry.
and may God bless us every one.
