Check out the difference

Remember how embarrassed you felt last week when you saw the pictures of bush at the Olympics? Especially the one where several men were having to hold him to keep him from falling because either something was wrong with him or he had one cocktail too many. Remember the strange expressions on his face at different times, often times looking more like a monkey than some monkeys do? And who could forget the photo of him holding the flag backward?

That’s our president now, but how about these pictures of our future president?

The McCain campaign suggested that the fact Obama took his shirt off to swim is a sign that he's a big celebrity. Off course, McCain's offer to pimp Mrs. McCain out in a biker topless event just signifies he's a Real Merkin.

Very nice. I would much rather see future presidnet Obama running around without most of his clothes than see Bush EVER. Maybe this is why McLame was so pissy about Obama's trip. McLame KNOWS we don't want to see him without a shirt, I would rather he cover his face.

OMG he's so HOT!!!!! as he stumbles and mumbles through questions about Russia that clearly indicates his complete lack of qualification to be president

PoP - He was an embarrassment long before the Beijing Olympics. I found the whole scene quite amusing in a train-wreck, can't-look-away manner. Naturally, the press treated the story with kid gloves. Don't want to piss the bosses off.

I can't wait till we escape to the big isle in a few more years. Obama pride is huge in the islands.

Cracks me up, the way Cokie Roberts tried to make Hawaii seem all foreign and exotic-as if that's a bad thing. Hello? It's been a state longer tha I've been alive. Nice try, though.

Bush has been a sham his entire life, His antics at the Olympics is shameful reminder of his how he has lead the country.

I hoping the cool dude in the surf is the next President.

Obama seems more presidential in swim trunks than Bush ever has, even in a suit and tie, eyes all shifty and nervous in front of the press.

McCain did plenty of stumbling and mumbling of his own when he was asked about Georgia/Russia. Mr. Foreign Policy because he's a POW? Whatever.

Bush was a complete disaster from day one. He is the worst President ever, and that will be his legacy. Anyone else will look better after him.

However, I read a newspaper article recently which said, “The frenzy of media coverage of Mr. Obama is creating a backlash. He may also be ill-served by some of his more over-the-top supporters who treat him like a rock star rather than a statesman.”

He’s not running for President of the Student Council, he’s running for President of the United States.

Mr Obama needs to reframe the election so that it is less about him and more about the issues. The same goes for the blogs, or the “Obamamania” will sputter out very quickly.

The thought of McCain appearing shirtless terrifies me.

Me too, Dean Wormer. Blech! There's no way we'll ever see that, though -- I'm sure the soldier tats and saggy boobies are enough to ruin any camera instantly.

I think we're all so tired of seeing a child-like and childish president, we stand in awe when we see a confident, smart, savy, robust man who is a bonafide adult.

Bush's backwards flag would have been perfect if he'd also hung it upside down. A nation in peril.
