Fred the Cat with attitude
Think about this for just a minute. What if you ran your household the way this administration ran our country for the past seven and a quarter years?
Little if any regulation (no rules). No financial responsibility (didn’t watch your checkbook or what you spent) No real planning for a war (you acted without thinking of the consequences) And the only people given assignments were cronies. (You need a good doctor but since none of your friends are doctors, you go to your friend the mechanic to make you well)
If the Pops ran this household the bush administration ran our country, I wouldn’t want to live here. You have to have rules (okay, I make a lot of them) You have to be responsible for your deeds (okay, except for me) And you have to use good common sense. (okay, that includes me most of the time)
Any cat worth its catnip knows these things, but I question some humans. A lot of them should have been spayed or neutered
Okay, that’s my feline rant for the week. Whew, I feel better now.

Yeah Fred, I actually think we would have been better off for the last 7 years if no one had been in charge. Just let it run on auto.

With much overwhelming debt.

I had a horrible thought last night, Fred. I realized that nearly 15% of my life, eight years out of 56 will have been spent with the Bush administration. That's a long freakin' time to be in hell. I can't wait for sanity to be restored, assuming that it will be in 2009.

Maw has a T-shirt that says, "Humans should be fixed" with a picture of a cat on it. She firmly believes that a great many humans should not reproduce.

If we ran our houses like Bush runs America we would not have the Chinese to float us and we would have a long while ago been in the dire straights Bush has us in now!

Unfortunately, I do run my house like Bush runs the country.
My dishes are piling up, the carpet needs to be vacuumed, the bathroom is disgusting, and the laundry is starting to walk around on its own.
The only difference is, my daddy, and/or his friends, is not going to come bail my ass out.

The scary thing is that many Americans do run their household exactly like that, which is why so many are in dire straits in this economy.
i also should get here earlier - all the good comments have been made! although i can think of one - fred, you know when you stare at a wall and all of a sudden run away, from a threat only you can see that makes no sense to the humans around you? that's what bush has done with all the wars he has (and will) start - he sees boogey men all over the place.
