Is it yours? Want it back?

“This photo from the Florida Highway Patrol shows the approximately 60 pounds of marijuana found on Interstate 4. The FHP in a press release asks, "Anyone missing their bags of marijuana or knows how these bags made their way onto the interstate system is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol at 813-631-4020."
(Orlando Sentinel)

Now will some idiot actually call and claim it?

I imagine there will be someone will be eager to recover this. Probably have a lot of money invested. You would think they would have taken a little more care strapping it down in the truck.

Dude! Lost your stash man! Bummer.

I think they will soon be arranging transport back to DC.

If you ask me, Jeb was preparing his brother's Christmas gift, that's all.

Sort of a Bush-inspired "green revolution".

Oops, so that's what happened to them. They were in the back of the truck, how did they fall out?

If I told Bubba once I told him a thousand times to make sure the load is secure.

It was a special delivery for some guy named Jeb over in Tallahassee, the FHP can just leave the bags on the lawn, we'll take care of the rest.

I hate playing "mine is bigger", but:

"We're sure this is one of the largest (busts) we've had in a long time." - Michigan State Police Sgt. Mario Gonzales, speaking about the discovery of nearly 500 pounds of marijuana [in a minivan during a traffic stop]... "With that much, I don't think it was for personal use,"

I wonder how this much marijuana could just be found laying somewhere on Interstate 4.

This large amount of drugs would have been packed whereas it could not be seen. I know someone is mad about this or in big trouble.

Now if it were a bag of donuts, the police wouldn't be in such a hurry for someone to claim it.

I'll bet some yahoo shows up to claim it....wait a minute, my husband just said he was going to Florida on a last minute business trip today. Hmmmm......

if they were in california, and had their prop. 215 card, the owner actually COULD pick this up, with no ramifications. here in my county, ganja isn't looked at in the same manner as in places like florida.

too bad the cops aren't going after REAL drugs, like methamphetamine, cocaine, and so on. oh wait, that might involve actual hard work.

How many cops will be standing around upwind when they burn all that?

There was a story in the news a while ago about a guy who called the police to report his house had been burgled, and when they asked him what was stolen he listed his marijuana stash among the stolen items.

Hey PoP, isn't there a sports bar or somewhere you could go to tonight to watch the game? We have DirectTV so we can get it on another channel. I would be majorly pissed if I couldn't watch it at home. But surely, someone somewhere has access to it near you? I hope so, anyway! GO COWBOYS!!!
