Just one of those things
Why is it that I can sleep through fireworks on the 4th of July, a window rattling thunder storm, even the alarm on our weather alert radio, but if my dog coughs just once during the night I am up and on my feet so fast it makes me dizzy?

PoP, I think it's the human counterpart of the "cheese radar" that dogs have. I can be in the opposite end of the house from our dog Mazie, open the refrigerator, and get into the cheese drawer... and she can hear me take the cheese out no matter how quietly I do it.

This is aggravating. I THINK I got logged in -- finally.
The is true for catmoms. I have three cats. Any sound they make in the night and I am wide awake.
