Where was the Love Then?
We are hearing a lot of Republicans defending and standing up for the CIA now that the dust up is going on with Nancy Pelosi. Where was all that love and devotion to the CIA when Valerie Plame was exposed by the bush administration? I don’t remember the Republicans getting upset over the outing of a covert officer, in fact many of them were disputing the fact that her position was covert.

There's only love when there's potential for 'outrage'.
In a related topic, why is Pelosi not supposed to criticize the CIA, when Gingrich, when he was SotH, was equally as critical about the FBI? Why is Gingrich allowed by the media to use the word "hypocrite" without being reminded that he was having an affair while calling for Clinton's impeachment?
The real problem is people with memories. There would be no hypocrisy if you people didn't have such damn long memories!
Not exactly on topic, but...
Am I the only one who thinks that Speaker Pelosi must be doing something EXTREMELY good - if the Republican noise machine is THIS determined to discredit her?
Two words: Bitter partisanship.
I was promised post-partisanship!
Indeed, hypocrisy is the name of the game.
the rethugs have found a scapegoat.
they want to draw attention away from the fact that they are currently eating their own young.
meanwhile, though I'm pretty much an ultra-lib, I have a hard time with Pelosi's assertion that she didn't know torture was going on.
didn't we all know from the moment McSame closeted himself in that back room and came out with a [very loose] definition of torture?
I know I knew. so why didn't Pelosi?
there are none so blind as those who will not see.
good question.
but ya know its okay if your a republican
i just don't see how they keep this faux outrage going for 4 more years
