Guess what this is

Just thought I would leave you with a guessing game while I accompany Mr. Pop on another business trip. We are leaving this afternoon and will be back here some time Friday afternoon.

The little dog I wrote about yesterday weighs about seven pounds and is about eleven inches tall. We’ve decided he’s large enough that Fred can’t bat him under the couch or the refrigerator. That’s where everything else Fred touches usually ends up.

Fred loves dogs so, if given the opportunity, these guys just might become bunk buddies. The lady from the rescue organization will be coming to my house this weekend for an inspection. All the rescue groups do this. She will come here to see if all the things I told her in my application are true. Fred better be on his best behavior.

See ya either late Friday or most likely Saturday morning. Be sweet and if you do throw a party here while I’m gone, please recycle the bottles and cans. Oh, and when I return I’ll tell what you are looking at in the picture, and we’ll see who got it right.

... if you do throw a party here while I’m gone ...

Leave enough beer in the fridge so I can water the plants. Heh ...

Good luck with the pup too. It'd be nice for Fred to have a little buddy again.

And don't laugh so hard about the beer joke. I'll be in Lauderdale on Saturday. Heh ... Heh ...

An orchid.

Have a great time and good thoughts on having the right dog come live with you!

Flower pornography!

Good luck with the adoption. If it doesn't work out, can I can come live with you? Cats love me.

That's the thing that ate W's brain. It was still hungry, so then it ate Cheney's soul. Unfortunately that was poison and the poor thing died.

That's not an orchid or any kind of flower. It's obviously a dimension-traveling rat-o-naut, black budget military ops, real hush hush.

My guess is that it is Buzz Lightyear as he travels through the 4th dimension of Grape Jello.

Hope the pup is THE PUP this time!
Fingers crossed.

Just sit down and tell Fred that this little pouch needs a home or else his situation will be dreadful. Fred will understand.

And I think this is the center of an iris or orchid.

Yep, have to go with the middle of an orchid. I have some spring flowers that are checkerboard(nice crisp straight lines and corners) but this has more of an abstract pattern...

It's the stamen of an orchid. Probably a dendrobium.

Do I win a trip to Florida?
(Which I'm contemplating anyway...)
Please, keep the NeoCons (and their narcissistic children) locked up while I'm there - especially after the onslaught of GOP types that slimed up to me in St.Augustine 2006. I've actually got a list of counties & votes that I'm using to determine where it is safe to travel this time around.

Hope you're having a great time on the business trip and the rescue shelter inspection goes well. That pic looks like one of those trolls dolls tossed in a pool.
