The fiasco is almost over
And Celebration Time is Approaching
Just think, you can count the number of days until you guys have a new president, on one paw.
If I didn’t know better I would swear the Pops have been into my catnip. They are all excited and laughing and having such a good time. I think I had better keep a low profile next Tuesday because I expect there’s going to be some human fun things going on around here.
Pop got a new “Celebration” Martini glass from Santa. She used it New Year’s Eve and I heard her say she’s going to use it Tuesday too. She’s just celebration crazy right now.
Have a great weekend and get ready to CELEBRATE!
Sincerely,
Fred the Cat (The cat who loves you guys!)

fred did you watch his speech - i hope not because it was a waste of time. isnt it amazing that humans can lie and be delusional ALL the time - and not have one iota of remorse for things that went wrong.
isnt it also amazing how self-centered and selfish humans can be -- especially incompentent, evil ones --- who see nothing except the world through their own misguided eyes.
he wants us to thank him, rather feed him catnip, for what he intended to do - but forget about what he actually did (which he doesnt that was that bad). he is trying to change the past - and you cats know the past cannot be changed, unless you are Borg or Klingon and use the transporter in some funny way.
we have all waited for these final days - why do i think he will make them the four longest in history
have a good weekend fred
You should warn the humans that catnip and martinis don't mix.
Fred! On ONE paw.
I knew that, but it hadn't sunk in.
Thanks! You made my day!
fred, how was fiasco? i mean we lived it but i thought about getting the book.
Hi -
I read both Fiasco by Thomas Ricks and Hubris by Michael Isakoff and David Korn...I highly recommend both...they give startling insight into just how shady and corrupted the Bush administration was and is. Fascinating and frightening...I am hoping for BIG changes to come!
Found you as a differing take on the inauguration from Zilla. (She did not take kindly to my take) But bloggers love to disagree and I welcome varying opinions! :)

We're having an inauguration party on Monday (have to work on Tuesday.)
Things are looking up.
get her out of your catnip, she has her martini's
hmmmmmmm--
I've got to get out and get some catnip of my own-- and if Jake is good I'll let him have some.
FOUR MORE DAYS! FOUR MORE DAYS!
:))))))
I haven't figured out what we're going to do yet to celebrate, but I just watched my husband MathMan leaving for D.C. on the local news. The lucky guy is going to the Inauguration.
hey folks--
Norman Lear commissioned a song and is going to present it to Obama on Tuesday.
You can hear it at http://www.bornagainamerican.org/index.html
While there you can sign the Declaration of Independence, remix the song or write your own lyrics, etc.
Lear is suggesting that we declare our patriotism -- not in a jingoistic sense -- but as a commitment to join Obama in doing whatever we can to rebuild this country.
sounds pretty good to me.
Fred... you and I know that the clock for Bush's departure can't tick fast enough.
i've already told everyone, i will be home with the t.v. on from early morning til...?
please, don't call unless it's to celebrate with me!
