A Question of character, but whose?

We all know what a man or woman is called who will debase themselves for financial gain. Often times that person is identified as a prostitute or worse. Is there another name for a man or woman who will debase themselves for political gain?

Senator McCain’s vice presidential candidate, as of late, has been emphasizing Senator Obama’s association with William Ayres. If you read Saturday’s New York Time's article about this relationship, you know there is no there, there. Yet Ms. Palin continues to try to create ignorant fear based on suggested fabrications. As we enter the final weeks of this campaign, she is willing to do or say anything for political gains. She is eager to spread fear and champion character assassination. The only character in question at this point is that of Ms. Palin.

Palin did not fabricate the fact that in 1995 Ayers and his wife hosted a party for the Obamessiah that lanched his Illinois political career, a fact conviently overlooked by the liberal intelligentsia such as you, and a fact that suggests a closer relationship to this unrepentant terrorist than you can admit.

I think that Palin might want to rethink this attack dog role. She has a husband who belongs/belonged to the Alaskan secessionist party.

Palin's character is clear. If I were McCain, I'd watch my back.

Palin - the McCain campaign truly, uses the jackbooted tactics based on fear and hate.

Character is right, they have little.

The Obama campaign is doing the right thing in matching dirty shot for dirty shot. McCain is dirty and has been for a long time. Obama was still in college when McCain was starting out in his nefarious career.

That is some stinky desperation cologne No. 5 Ms. Palin is wearing.

Guess who the only candidate is who gave blowjobs to a secessionist?

Palin is an admitted environmental terrorist.

To attack any candidates character, instead of focusing on issues, is a result of a desperate failing campaign whose positions are being found to be damaging to the moral, ethical, economical, leadership, and diplomatic character of this country.

The fact that she would focus on this irrelevant issue, displays she is not fit to be a leader, or even a number two.

And speaking of character, what about First Dude's relationship - *actual* relationship, mind you - with that secessionist turrurist nutjob?

And what about The Keating Five?

Oh yes, both of those are in the news now, thanks to Winky opening the door. Silly Winky.

Ironic, since when ask what newspapers she reads she claims "all", but in this case apparently didn't read "all" of the article. She is scary and despicable.

I disagree.... she is fit to be...ahem... number two.

Thank you! Thank you very much. Try the moose, I'll be here all week!

It also sounds like the crowds at her speeches are turning ugly. They are desperate.

I expect McCain to be an complete dick tonight. It's lost on him that he did so bad in the first debate because he was a jerk. He thinks he was too nice.

Idiots- both of them.

I'm quoting here: tho I don't remember who said it:
"when the facts are on your side-- pound the facts.
when the facts aren't on your side -- pound the table."
my addendum--
'and when you don't know the facts -- pound character -- even if you have to make it up as you go along.'

Palin's act as the attack dog is directly related to John McCain's desperation to be president. Her tactics speak to the character of both.

These are the last weeks to make an impression by either candidate. With no ideas, McCain will offer only attitude and attack. Obama must be careful how he handles this. Just the right amount of attitude while still trying to get his ideas and plans across. Someone needs to remain calm. It should be him.

I actually hope Palin continues to shout the domestic terrorist chant. As bad a job at swift boating as I have ever seen. Yeah it will rally the faithful. But they are not in doubt. It's the undecided they should be fishing for. Barack living near and knowing an old school radical is not the bait to use.

What frightens me is how easily Palin is able to whip up the hateful psychos who go to her little rallies; what will these people do when McOld and the Pitbull lose? What will they do to Obama? These people are already calling for Obama's blood at some of these rallies. Yet the cops never arrest them--instead, they arrest people like Amy Goodman or Cindy Sheehan, despite the fact that they didn't threaten anyone's life during their protests.

I sort of disagree with you on Palin's character. There's really nothing to consider. She has no character; or class for that matter.
