For a Change

Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a time when you trusted the government enough that you didn’t dread hearing the news in the morning, for fear that something else had gone to hell?

Hell, I would just be happy if I could trust the government to not do any harm from day to day much less failing to prevent it.

You're not going to want to listen to today's news then. Tax cuts for business in the senate version of the bailout.

When they warn that it's going to hell you can never be sure if it is hell for them or hell for you. In any case, you are the one who is going to foot the bill to fix it.

I don't listen to the morning news; if I did, I'd never get out of bed ;-D

Instead, I get my morning fill from blogs like this :-)
