An Insult

Strong smart women, in any sort of administrative position, do not rely on flirting to make their point. Flirting is personal, not professional.

A female who resorts to winking as a persuasive tactic insults all women and men.

it was insulting and annoying

go back and watch her 'perfomance' again -- it is remarkabley AWFUL. most of her answers are so programmed and so inauthentic --- you got distracted by her flirting.

she is the worst candidate ever IMHO. and the least qualified -- even less than bush - and that is hard to imagine.

now she is the attack dog.

As a man, or a close facsimile, I was sure she was winking at me. Just me. No one else. She wants me. I know it. Too bad I can't stand her hair or her voice. Guess I'll have to vote for Barack now. He's got big ears. That means he'll listen.

I know, I know. Voting for Obama is voting for a terrorist loving, religious fanatic turned lowly community organizer. But what's a guy to do? Voting for more nation invading bridges to nowhere hasn't been all it's cracked up to be either. Seems we could use a little community organizing here instead trying to do it at the end of a gun 8000 miles away.

So profound. So very true. Having lived in the corporate world and had to hob nob with men, I never used my feminine giles to persuade a man. Business is business.
It's not being self absorbed or intolerant, it is acting professional.

It is a disgrace and an insult indeed.

Demeaning to one and all. I once wrote about her- courtesy of a conversation with Dcup in which she brought it up, as the woman who holds you down in the book, The Handmaid's Tale, when you are being raped.

A PUMA blogger took huge offense to my remark, but I stand by it.

She is a woman who stands for nothing but emptiness and evil.

RAmen. At the anti-Palin rally Saturday, someone had a sign that said, "Don't wink at me. EVER!"

She's a grown woman still acting like "Daddy's Little Girl." It's obvy what has worked for her all of her life. Until now, I hope.

It's both sad and shameless that this is what McCain has to resort to for votes. If America falls for the winking and blinking, and the outright deceptions and lies, there really is no hope for this country.

It was embarrassing to watch. And you know, she didn't behave that way in her Alaska Gov. debates. I wonder who coached her to be so over the top.

Of course, she's a craven narcissist to go along with it.

scary indeed to consider what sort of men, or women, are taken in by that shit. anyone think putin would fall for it?

and thanks, pop, for such a succinct critique.

And I couldn't help but notice the ugly dig at Michelle Obama with one of the parting shots, "...and I LOVE my country"

It absolutely shocks me that anyone would find flirty-girl worthy of the vice presidency. But when I read the troll's comment above, I see how pathetically ignorant some part of the electorate really is. The flirty girl can't make a succinct argument. She can hardly string words together in a coherent sentence, and those who support her don't even know it. Or worse, they know it and don't care.

For her and her campaign handlers to think that winking at the camera like a playboy bunnie would get men to vote with "the little head" is one of the most insulting things I can think of.

Unfortunately, their "base" probably will.

Agreed.

But it's not just a gender thing. It makes the person doing the winking look like a used car salesman imho.

too bad she didn't get the quote right. it fits her perfectly.

'there is a place in hell for women who don't help other women'

her flirty act sets women back at least 3 decades. that's not helping women- not in the least.

very well-put, pop. thank you.

I don't trust people of either sex who wink at me, and I definitely don't want that kind of base hick-America "appeal" to be what the rest of the world sees when they look at America. Haven't we had enough English-mangling, incurious, stupid, power-hungry assholes in the White House?

Recently, I was calling around to get bids on some work on my house.
A guy called me, "Honey"-- [a wink you can hear over the phone.]
He didn't even get to bid on the job.

Neither does she.

Between her winking and McSame's refusal to look at Obama-- this entire campaign is built on insults.

I am so tired of people thinking as a woman I should just stand behind her, I can't STAND her, she isn't someone I'd invite into my home, why would I want her in the white house?

Rather than bringing us ahead she takes a step or two back for all of womenkind. ;o(
