A Campaign Song for John McCain
Seems John McCain is having a little problem finding a campaign song that the writer of the song will allow him to use. So I’m thinking, I bet if we crank up our gray matter, we could come up with a song that fits McCain. One of my first thoughts was “Old Man River”.

Pimpin' All Over The World - Ludacris
Tin Man - America
Johnny Can't Read - Don Henley
Fat Bottom Girls - Queen (for Cindy)
Do You Think I'm Sexy - Rod Stewart (he can try)
As a counterbalance, I think Obama could effectively use Neil Young's "Old Man" very nicely!!
Frank Zappa's Bobby Brown
Fran's choice is excellent, because it's got a big campaign song hook.
Randy Newman's "Old Man on the Farm" is just too much of a downer.
Queen's "I Want It All" would be an excellent choice for the whole GOP's theme.
"The Devil Went Down to Georgia"
Country Joe and the Fish:
"Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die Rag"
The Dutchman
"Numb" by U2...
Gerswhin's "It Ain't Necessarily So" for 2 reasons:
1- the flip-flop thing
2- and the memorable line "Methuselah lived 900 years...."
On my post on this topic, I suggested "Same old story, same old song and dance" by Aerosmith, or "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath.
"This Old Man" aka, the 'Knick Knack Paddy Whack' song.
"Highway To Hell"...AC/DC
"Know Your Enemy" Rage Against the Machine
How about "Fuck you, Asshole" -- oh wait, that's not a song. Sorry.
"plastic jesus"
Tiny Boxes by Malvina Reynolds. He'd think it was a sweet Americun song - only we'd know better.
How 'bout this old Jerry Garcia tune?
Blue Oyster Cult, "Don't Fear the Reaper".
I'll have to go with Slayer's "Raining Blood" off their "Soundtrack to the Apocalypse".
Or "On the Good Ship Lollipop" by Tiny Tim.
Maybe play them at the same time.
(I this is probably the formula for finding that elusive "brown note" too.)
I got a feelin hed have no problem gettin th rights to use "I Got a Crush on Obama."
I Started a Joke -- Bee Gees
masters of war?
Nowhere Man, by the Beatles.
hmmm well Cocaine was GW's right???? so lets go for Business as Usual by the Eagles?
