PARTY!
I am one happy feline today. You guys did it! You made my favorite candidate your nominee to be the next President of the United States. I have a great big hug waiting for each of you. And I promise my claws will not be used when I give you that hug.
Just imagine how we are all going to feel in November when we can say, President Obama. Oh my, such a party there will be! You guys will ring bells and blow horns. I’m guessing there will be a shortage of adult alcoholic beverages on the store shelves. I’ll be up to my whiskers in Cosmic catnip, too.
Okay guys, go out there and make it happen. Let’s get Senator Obama elected so we can get this party started!
Have a great weekend and do something sweet for someone
Sincerely,
Fred the Cat (the cat who loves you guys!)

The only thing I fear was that Hillary was the best choice against McCant.
I don't think the typical U.S. voter voter has evolved enough to vote for someone with ears as big as his.
I hope I'm wrong.
It's not a done deal yet but with some effort it will happen and yes there will be a party.
I'll bring the catnip and olives. And some Grey Goose.
Well, Fred, I will be watching this with great trepidation. Living in the south (the land of slow motion social suicide) hasn't instilled in me much confidence in the sensibilities of human affairs and I fear they will probably fuck it all up -- again.
Taz and Wiley say "meow". I think that means, "Have a great weekend".
It certainly is a historic moment.
Anyone with a cat picture gets my support :)
Saw your post on C&L about McCain telling Floridians that he doesn't support the Everglades Restoration bill. I have a question, do the residents of Florida support this bill? From the title it sounds like a good thing. I've been involved with stream restoration here in Pennsylvania and to me, anytime we can restore wetlands, it benefits the world.
dcup - did you say Grey Goose and catnip? I'll be there and bring along enough catnip for 4 crazy cats.
Thank, Fred. I sent the guy $100 of the $600 my Crazy Uncle Sam sent me.
Let's not just hope for the best, let's work for the best as well.
There will be dancing in the streets when Obama is elected President on November 4th. I think even cats and dogs will dance together, giving up all old animosities. (Okay, maybe I'm getting carried away by my own enthusiasm!)
Groove it up on that 'nip, Fred. It's a great new era.
I will settle for getting Senator Obama elected President. I will leave the partying, however, to others.
JG.
Have plenty of booze handy just in case America decides to be extra stupid for a third straight time.
PoP - feel free to copy the cartoon. Just give Kathi Ember credit. It's her design. She told me to pass it around to everyone, everywhere. Just copy it if you can. If you can't download it, let me know and I'll send you a jpeg.
i've been doing the happyhappy-joyjoy dance.
have a great weekend fred.
catnip for everybody!
Par-Tay!

Fred, you are one hep cat, I tell you what.
We WILL party big when Obama wins -- change is a groovy thing!
I have a hard time wrapping my head around how goddamned cool an Obama win would be.
Party on, Garth.
we are already planning the party at our place. really. it will be all weekend long, on the weekend following his election. everyone's invited!
meeeoowwwww !!
I weep for the future of our republic
Am so thoroughly thrilled the best candidate is now presumptive nominee.
Winning the general will be tough, lots of work ahead, but what a good week this has been.
Cheers to all.

"I weep for the future of our republic"
There's one at every party, I swear, and they're always the ones that hog the hors d'oeuvre.....
Let's just hope we can win, come November.
It's very exciting indeed, Fred. Baxer is also excited, because as you probably know, he too is an Obama supporter.
I truly believe Obama can win. Let's hope he keeps his cool, as he is so good at doing, and McCain loses his.
Fred, Mister Kitty up here in Mpls, is saving his vintage bag of catknip (1980 a very good year)for the party come Nov.
