Happy Earth Day!

Let’s make everyday Earth Day. Let’s also take time to enjoy the beauties of Mother Nature.

I took this photo in my backyard a couple of years ago. This wee creature was resting contentedly among the rose petals. Even little tree frogs take time to stop and smell the roses.

Cool picture! And I agree with you. Why wouldn't we want every day to be earth day?

Around here, everyday is Earth Day - because the prosaic yet avaricious activities of mankind are generally repulsive.

As for the tree frog, they are great - cute pix. Several of them took up residence in the potted plants I maintained in the lanai in Florida. Like this one that loved to sit above the door:

unfortunately, these days, too many people are treating us to the smell of manure to try smelling the roses.

That is a cool picture! Never seen that before. When I saw the beautiful rose my first thought was wondering if you knew how good they tasted and all the colors taste differently, also the rose hip (holds the petals) is pure vitamin C. Just some thoughts!

I was just thinking this morning that every day should be earth day. The idea that we only devote one day to the planet is a bit absurd.

How great! What a wonderful photo. Yes, everyday MUST be Earth Day if the planet is to survive.

That is just about the cutest picture I have ever seen. It's too bad the frogs are disappearing. They seem to be the canaries in the coal mine for climate change.

Earth Day should be every day.
