Whew, we’re finally back home!

Today there was a bad wreck involving an eighteen wheeler on south bound I-95. No problem for us since we were going to be traveling north on I-95, right? Wrong. For whatever reason they decided to close all north bound lanes and divert all north bound traffic over to US 1. Oh man, what a long slow crawl that was. We had expected to be home much earlier today. But we are now finally home and Mr. Pop has gone to pick up fearless Fred the Cat and Murphy.

I’m waiting to see if Fred the Cat got his chip and shots. My sister in law, who has been a vet for many years, tells me the positives of the chip far outweigh any possible and rare negatives. That’s why we are determined to chip the Fred cat man. If he should run away for some reason, at least I’ll have a shot at knowing that I might get him back, or at worst, find out what happened to him.

Mr. Pop just drove up. Fred the Cat does have his shots and he is chipped! Finally! We'll see what kind of attitude he has brought home with him.

So we’re all back home and as they say, it’s all good!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Glad to hear you made it home safely. Pretty crazy how accidents tie up both sides of a highway.

Tell Fred I hope he doesn't mind the shots and chip. It's for his own good, and we all love him and wish him the best. How does Murphy feel about his stay at the vet?

Hope you have a great weekend there.

Hmmm ... sometimes they close the other side of the highway to give the medevac choppers a place to land.

As for Fred, I'm with you on the chip. I had Kinsey chipped years ago even though she's an indoor-only kitty. When I flew out to Michigan with her, I felt much better knowing she could be identified if she escaped even if she lost her collar.

Good to hear all are home safe. Here's hoping Fred's chip does not give him super powers.

If Fred is anything like my cats, I know exactly what kind of attitude he brought back with him. Better have the Cosmic Catnip ready.

Glad the travel ordeal is over and yoy are home safe and relaxing. Hope Fred is comfortable. You have me curious though, is there a way for you to test out his chip?

I feel for you, being stuck waiting for the accident to be cleared. Recently, one morning, I was actually early heading to work. Almost there when I ran in to traffic. Accident ahead. Couldn't do anything but wait. Half hour late for work. That taught me that trying to get there early, I'll still end up late. What's the hurry about getting out of bed?
So, what type of attitude did Fred bring home with him?

Glad you and Mr. Pop made it home safely.

As for Fred being chipped now if he disagrees with what Der Fuhrer is doing they will not allow him to buy any Cosmic Catnip as they will deny him using his chip money account.

That is why they want to chip all people and make us a currency free nation. All purchases will be deducted from your chip account.

I hope Fred behaves and don't end up losing his right to purchase his catnip.

God Bless.
