My Take

Today Bush lamented that the failure of the Dubai deal will hurt our relationship with the rest of the world.
He wasn’t all that concerned with the our relationship with the rest of the world when he invaded Iraq.

Bush also said today that he does not make decisions by sticking his finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing.
From what we have seen of the results of his decision making, I would suggest he makes his decisions while sticking his finger somewhere else.

I agree whole heartedly. That fucking Rat Bastard Bush is just an asshole plain and simple.

You know what would help our relations in the Middle East? Actually fucking rebuilding Iraq and establishing peace and security instead of making Bush's crony buddies billions of dollars.

It would also go along way if we did not invade sovereign nations without provocation or reasonable justification.

I'm sure all of Bush's saber rattling over Iran is not exactly helping our relations in the Middle East either.

I just got done watching that. Smug jerk. At least I know if I'd lost my million dollar necklace in the rubble left by Katrina that Dubya would be looking out for me...

Dubya is Dubya. I think that by pretending to lose on the Dubai thing, the Repubs actually won and Bush will get his payoff later. It will be proven later that this was one of the biggest money scams in history. No one trusts Bush.

Rumor has it that Halliburton will be taking over the ports.

LO fucking L

That's just Bush's way of sticking it to us for opposing him.

Loyalty and Revenge...trademarks of the Bush Administration.

Dubya had a plan to reward Dubai for their assistence in killing Muslims.

Serious reward for a serious action of fratricide.

The reward was probably promised years ago, before the beginning of the war on Iraq.

Didn't work.

What feels bad about the whole thing is that fear, hate and bigotry won.....

And Bush (usually the consummate purveyor of fear, hate and bigotry.......lost.

Something stinks about that.

hehe you are so right. I watched that speech he gave.. His pre senile dementia seemed moderatly in check today. The meds are working. oh and before one speech they did poll to see if he should admit any mistakes. So yea he does put a finger to the wind, and up his nose, and his ass, and my ass, and your ass, and the asses of other countries, Gods ass, if there is an ass, he has his finger up it.

Dubya is a visionary... Well, at least he has visions anyway.

You see he had this idea that if the Arabs were managing our ports, it could possibly give him another one of those 'standing on the rubble' moments that he needs so badly now.

Fresh set of batteries in the megaphone, and he was good to go.

And then he turns to his base and says, "smell my finger" and they do. It's hard to fathom that level of stupidity masked as loyalty. Patricia, I'd say your take is right on.

He makes his decisions with his finger up his nose. That's hard to do when his head is always up his ass -- it's hard work.

(By the way, if I may be so bold, what happened over at BlondeSense? I just noticed you're no longer on the contributors' list. This is just 'cause I really suck at keeping up with who's in my own blogroll...)
