Fred's Back Home
Mr. Pop picked up Fred from the vet’s office yesterday and brought him home. I’m not exactly sure what caused his problems but the vet knew and gave him the needed meds. I don’t know who was happier, the ladies at the vet’s when Fred left or Fred when he got home.
The vet ran all sorts of tests on Fred and the results showed that he has no internal growths or obstruction and his blood work showed that he has no pending problems. So the best part of this was learning what we don’t have to worry about.
The vet did find some ear mites in his ears and sent home some drops for us to put in his ears twice a day. Mr. Pop volunteered for that job and the first time he tried it he got more of the drops on him than in Fred’s ears. Seems Fred is opposed to having a cold liquid squirted into his ears. This morning was much more successful than last night’s attempt. Yep, Fred’s feeling much better, I can tell because he’s acting his old sweet obnoxious self.

Yay!
Some good news today. Thanks for the update.
PoP...
Glad too hear that Fred's doing better.
God Bless.
Yay! Our little black & white buddy is gonna be ok. Give him a lil' pat from me!
Hurray for Fred (and you)! We've had our own veterinary worries here. Our sweet dogggie Mazie, who lost a leg to bone cancer almost two years ago, developed a new limp over the past couple weeks. We were fearing the worst while hoping for the best. The vet visit yesterday revealed yes, it's a recurrence of bone cancer, but fortunately ONLY in a toe. The affected toe is coming off tomorrow. We are relieved!!! She couldn't have tolerated losing another leg.
Yay! Will Fred be blogging again soon?
