Giving Until it Feels Good
Yesterday we took two new dog beds and a bag of new Christmas toys to the local no-kill shelter for the dogs and cats there to have something new to play with for Christmas.
The warm feeling we got after doing that, seems it may last forever.
Today Mr. Pop is carrying several bags of groceries to our local food pantry.
Add that feeling to the feeling we got yesterday and rest assured, we will have a very Merry Christmas. There is no gift that either of us could get that would make us any happier than we are right now.

Aw, I so heart you for what you did!
We rescue cats since my neighborhood is full of abandoned and feral felines. So, I cooked a turkey just for them at Thanksgiving.
You are right too, nothing feels as good as helping the downtrodden.
