In Solidarity
In solidarity with Pop and her sore paw, I too will keep my post short.
She’s had a tough week. She’s been hurting and frustrated too. Seems most humans only know how to use one front paw successfully when it comes to doing stuff. I did my best to make it easy on her. I decided not to trip her up, not once. I was curious about the bandage on her hand but decided it wouldn’t be wise to bite it or scratch at it. I’m so glad she isn’t required to scratch around in a litter box like I do. I’m guessing she couldn’t do that this week.
Too bad that humans don’t take as good care of themselves as they do us felines and the canines. Pop would never allow me to stick my paw in an area where I might get hurt, but she allowed herself to do it. She says what she did was kinda dumb. Did you or your human ever do anything kinda dumb? Did anyone get hurt? I hope not.
Pop said to tell you guys that by Monday she thinks she will be able to type with both paws. She’ll be ready to rock and roll.
Have a great weekend and protect your paws from harm
Sincerely,
Fred the Cat (the cat who loves you guys)

What a compassionate cat you are Fred.
Fred, you're irresistible. I have this urge to reach over and pet your fluffy tummy...
Ah Fred, we humans are stupid indeed. It's a good thing you keep us anyway.
you're a damn fine cat fred!
Fred, we of course totally agree with you. Although G.T. did once make a flying leap from the cat tree to the top of the china hutch. And missed. He broke his leg in 3 places. The V-E-T was very surprised because cats aren't known for breaking bones. While dogs on the other hand, DUH, break stuff all the time. So yes, G.T. wore a splint for 12 weeks. But he learned how to race around and leap onto cat trees just fine.
And Maw, well, she does stupid things all the time and hurts something... But she's a human.

fred
you are the humane cat!
and you look so damn cute today!
Fred, you type well for having only paws.
When I was in the military, and we had to wear our chemical protective gear with these big thick gloves, we needed pencils in each hand in order to type.
Just an idea for your human.
Fred,
One of my humans put her hand on an electric burner that she had just turned off....to make sure she had turned it off.....(Duh).
Needless to say.....she had a circular tat on her hand for a while.
Immediate application of aloe helped...but she felt really stupid (as well she should have!)
Your friend,
Another Fred
Fred - we are they guys that love you back!!
What a good kitty, showing such love and compassion for PoP who has had a tough week.
Take good care of her this weekend- wise choice btw not to tangle with her bandages or trip her.
Looking forward to having her back in action. She is a pretty smart woman and we need her voice in the blogosphere.
And of course dear Fred, we need you too!
Fred,
I have put my toe and my finger in harms way before and paid the price. For a human a front paw injury is usually worse than a back paw injury as far as disability goes. I am glad that Patricia protects you and your paws and I hope you keep up your good work staying out of her way when she walks

Sorry to hear that you're injured -
hope you're healing up nicely, POP.
Fred's an awesome puddy...
Have a great weekend.
Peace,
=RD=
Fred - this picture of you is so hot, (mrrrrr) I gotts know if you might be interested in stepping out with me some time. (See my photo on my human's blog -- I look just like you except my hair is shorter)

Charisma--you has it, Fred! Take care of Pop, and I hope she uses her good paw to pet you lots over the weekend.
Have a good weekend, PoP. Here's wishing your Cowboys success against the Eagles.
Fred, Make sure you keep PoP's litter organized. I hope I'm wrong but we may see some feathers in your mouth after the Cowboys play the birds.
i've not been up to reading blogs lately - but fred-o, i had to check in with you! keep Mrs PoP informed abt the importance of paws!
aww Fred, you are one helluva supportive cat...I just read the post about how Pop got a sore paw, and...OUCH!!! Give her a good, healing lick and tell her I hope she's back in the game soon. And I'm glad she doesn't have to paw around in a litter box too.
(btw, I'm the queen of doing dumb stuff and getting hurt...lots of battle scars on this old body of mine...)
Fred you are why, in so many countries, they eat dog but not cat.
And I mean that as a compliment.
We love you too, Fred! :)
I had to catch up too...happy anniversary. Sorry about your poor finger...but stuff yourself full of the leftover candy...that should help to make it forgettable.
