Trick or Treat?
Take a couple of bags of candy for yourself and leave the other 48 bags for the rest of the kids. There’s all kinds of candy in each little bag.
Tonight I’ll be wearing this as I answer the door. I found it in a consignment shop, brand new and for much much less than it originally sold for.
If I show up at your house tonight and say, Trick or Treat, what do I get?

Looks like a lovely costume for a lovely ladie...Fred's mother of course. What are you going to dress Fred like? Personally I see Fred as a one eyed Pirate and naturally a big sword at his side while lying on the couch.
Hope you don't get into any scuffles with kids at other homes from getting their candy.
Have a nice Halloween. Don't eat too much candy.
Spiderella, don't give out candy with your injured hand. Some greedy little candy-grabber is likely to give you much more pain than you already have.
In this area, we no longer have trick-or-treaters. Parents drive their kiddies to the more affluent and more densely populated neighborhoods in hopes of hitting the sugar jackpot. Or they go to those icky "Hallelujah Night" festivals.
Even with the lack of little monsters, Mr. Andante always buys a big bag of sugar loot, which somehow ends up going straight to my rear end.
We live in a high rise, so no kids and no candy at our place, but any grown-ups who show up get to play bobbing for olives at the martini bar.
Oh, do stop by tonight! Reese's for the youngsters and Vespers for the grown-ups!
You'd get nothing because no one will be home. Both of us taking the kids out assures that I won't have to interact with any punkass kids/little darlings, take your pick.
If you were to show up at MY door with that outfit, you would get a trick AND a treat, and anything else you'd want.
Well what do you want? A trick or a treat? ;) Either would be fun.
Sorry, no candy, but I might have a special potion for you.
Nice trick or treat bags! Do you have any with 'nip in them? When you ring our doorbell, we'll all run and hide under the beds.

Well, you're a married woman, so I guess you'd get a thing of Sweet-tarts, and a couple of candy bars.

Nice costume! I bet the kids are going to love going to your house. We always manage to live someplace where kids never knock on the door. We've stopped buying candy.
One-legged Queen, here (don't ask). If you stop by my house, you can have your share of kit-kats, m&m's, laffy taffy, mike & ike's, ummm...that's the short list. I bought 16 various community sized bags of candy from skittles to 3 musketeers. You want it, I got it!

If you show up at my door you'll get the great big candy bars, I don't mess with the small stuff. But, you'll also get some big ol' galoot labrador who is going to try to push through the door and lick you in the face.
Great costume...I'm going to be a devil and my dog has a little devil costume. Isn't that pathetic? Now I that my kids are all grown, I have to live my childhood through my dog. Ugh.
You would get nothing. I'm going to answer the door dressed as George Bush, so I'll be stealing candy from the little darlins when they come so trustingly to my door. ;-)

At my house, you'd get an appreciative smile and a handful of candy. Anything more than that, and I'd have to face the wrath of one very angry wife.
