Another Idiot Exposed

Sen. Inhofe Compares People Who Believe In Global Warming To ‘The Third Reich’
“Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) is the nation’s most prominent global warming denier. He famously declared that global warming is “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.” Now, he’s taken the argument a step further. In an interview with Tulsa World, Inhofe compared people who believed global warming was a problem to Nazis:”
The rest is here, if you can take anymore

He sounds like a closet Nazi himself. I love it, let those dorks dig their own holes - another republican seat lost on the hill.

Keep it up wingers, we don't have to work as hard when you prove the old saying. "Tis better to sit in silence and be thought a fool, than to speak up and remove all doubts."

These guys wouldn't know science if it bit them on the ass.

There needs to be a litmus test to run for Congress.

An IQ test. With results higher than the embryos they cherish. Most could not meet that standard.

Example:

Sen. Stevens(R)from Alaska
"the internet is not a truck it's a series of tubes"

What an idiot!

No Child Left Behind requires more from first graders.

No thanks, I've read their crap before.

Even if they were right (NOT) what's wrong with trying to live and leave the world as clean as we possibly can?

Does not believing in global warming equate to being a global PIG?

There's a Big Lie being perpetrated all right, but it's not the one Inhofe cites, but rather its opposite: that there's really a scientific debate on global warming at this point.

You've got to hand it to the wingnuts -- they've perfected a self-reinforcing strategy. They promote a brand of anti-intellectualism that willfully discourages the acquisition of scientific knowledge (see the "debate" over evolution). And in doing so, they create a pig-ignorant constituency that will uncritically swallow whatever lies they serve up. In fact, this ignorant constituency is incapable of doing anything else since they lack the critical thinking skills to arrive at an independent conclusion.

Sheer genius.

Inhofe lives in a state where the forests are oil derricks instead of trees. His idea of a spring is the gusher when an oil reservoir is tapped and I just wonder how much of his campaign funds come from oil companies.

Jeez, I don't know what is worse; the fact that he is spewing this crap, or that some choose to believe it!

I wrote him a special letter a few months back.

We treat Earth as if we own it, and we don't. We're merely bad guests, and we're trashing it. Inhofe's callous dismissal of good science is beyond ludicrous.

When we have thunderstorms in Los Angeles in July, something is wrong with the environment.

Maybe he should visit my apartment in northern Belgium (where we are roasting). It should never get much above 80F here in summer due to the Gulf Stream. It may hit 95F today. It been over 90 for weeks.

Plus, it snowed here this winter and was extremely cold. Coincidence? I don;t think so.

Best of luck to all of you roasting in the heat. But hey, there is no global warming so maybe we are having a collective delusion?

The problem with modern moron-hood is that there are no direct consequences.Except re-election that is. But I was actually thinking of negative consequences, something worse than being made fun of by John Stewart.More like the stocks or a good tar and feathering.

Like you said, Divajood. We are bad guests in a wonderful place.

Sheesh... how and why do people put up with the way these jerks diss science? Do they look at it as a way to get back at the lefties for the perceived dissing of their religious beliefs? Surely they must believe science has given us some good things, and that the scientific method produces evidence to support theories... that human curiousity is a good thing?

Hmmm. Well, maybe not.

I just don't get it.
