Turn off the flash. At least that worked when I took pictures of a kitty last year.
yep, it's the flash. That's the light from the flash shining off your little doggie's retinas.
or - let him crawl back into the bag.
because, let's face it, he even has a cute heiney.
Or - if your flashy beast has an adjustable flashy - point it up above him so it doesn't flash right into his eyes?
