oh i am so damn happy and the members of my international poetry group(based in the u.k.) sent their joy and congrats and relief(which should tell you something)
crying the happiest tears in all my life today. thanks to good bloggers like you, goodness prevailed! our only disappointment was that the first family didn't give equal time to rescued kitty cats! ;)
Those are my two highlights from last night, first that Mr. Obama has been elected, and secondly that the girls get their puppy! I have a feeling that he must be a very good daddy. Of course there are a lot of rightwingers who have been brainwashed into thinking that Obama is some agent of evil, but oh well. I think the guy is the bees' knees, and I think that after he has been in office a while even some of the harder cores will warm to him somewhat.
This could be the beginning of some better times for America. I feel it!!

Thabk God our long national nightmare is over. Now where do I line up for the free gas and to have my mortgage paid by rich people?
Best.

Could you imagine getting picked from a shelter to be the Obama's dog?
That's like winning the doggy lottery or something.
A rescue dog? Damn! This guy hits every note right, doesn't he?
Smiling from ear to ear. It will be so wonderful to have that beautiful family in the White House.
