A Good Investment
Who says there are no good investments right now? The best investment I have made in a long time was the money I donated to Senator Obama’s campaign. I expect that investment to pay off nicely over the next four years. At the end of that four years if everything is going well I plan to reinvest.

How true is that - and such a great way to look at it!
No shit, sister. Good on ya. I have a feeling we'll get a good return over the next 4 years.
Hope you have something left to invest in four years after the "redistributor" redistributes your money to his friends
Logically you are correct. Sure you can expect the desired return. Wish you all the best.
Investments
An excellent investment PoP and I am looking forward to mine turning out as well. It will be a good investment for me when I get to see the look on all our wingnut friends. I warned them 4 years ago when they reelected Shrub that they were looking at either Hillary or Obama this year and they just laughed.
Well, I don't quite share your optimism. I'm voting for Obama, but it's one of those deals where I think I have to do this -- choosing the alternative would be far worse.
After that, we'll just have to wait and see. If he picks the right people for his administration, we might be in good hands...
i'm with you!
Matty Boy, Investment Advisor to the Stars*, is looking at a lot of stuff right now, and the thing that has dropped way too much is silver. It may be a good buy now that it is below $9 an ounce.
*Matty Boy owns no silver and knows no stars. Matty Boy also invested in Obama, which looks like it has a chance to pay off next week.
The only return I'm anticipating is the return of America to its past glory... BEFORE GWBush.
God Bless America.
BTW, I voted early this past Saturday. My vote is in!
That is a smart thing to do.
A little over a week until the beginning of the end.
Definitely a good investment.
Yes, so far my donations to Obama are paying off a lot better than the investments in my 401k!!!
I've really been pleased with the way he's run his campaign and I expect he will run the government equally well. Let's just hope the GOP doesn't manage to steal the election - again. Knock on wood!!!
yep. good investment all around.
as to surrounding himself with good people, my guess is he'll continue to do that. not yes-men as the shrub did.
people who will speak truth to power. and he'll listen. and won't THAT be a nice change?
After eight years of Shrub and his lot taking our hard-earned middle class taxes and redistributing to his rich pals, it'll be nice to think we get some use out of it, once Obama is in. Bush/Cheney hav had a greedy version of spreading the wealth for some time now...
