Birthday Time Again
Today is my Happy Birthday! As soon as I post this Mr. Pop will be sweeping me off to the Daytona area for a couple of days. He has a meeting there and then the rest is fun time. I’ll save each of you a martini (non-alcoholic if you prefer) and a piece of birthday cake and a party hat.
So while I’m away celebrating another year of living, tell me about the best birthday you ever had.

Very Happy Birthday!! I could use a party hat right now! I think the best birthday I remember is when Eric Johnson played 2 shows at Antone's on my birthday. Hey, the simple pleasures, right?

The best birthday I've had is the one I forgot, much less hype that way. However, I don't recommend it. It is hard to do intentionally.

As for my favorite birthday observance, I think I would count a delayed present of spending 12 days with my sweet spouse in the Grand Tetons, where we hiked and hiked and ate and ate and drank local beer, and I got to climb the Grand Teton itself. It was fabulous, we felt younger and stronger for being at altitutde and exercising so much. The Mountains of Youth!
My best wasmy 39th, but since I'be had 20 39th birthdays, I'm too dang old to remember which 39th.

The best birthday I ever had was my 33rd, the day my third child was born! I had German chocolate cake that evening with my family in the hospital. Don't think I'll ever be able to top that one.
