Hot Coat Hangers

“Bush’s first mention in The New York Times, in November 1967, had been as a former Deke president defending the practice of branding new fraternity pledges with a hot coat hanger.”

This quote is from Bob Woodward’s new book “State of Denial”. Deke is short for Delta Kappa Epsilon. Seems bush has been enjoying inflicting pain upon other human beings for a long time.

Yes, and I believe he is enjoying torturing the entire US, watching our agony as we try to balance moral responsibility. He is only upset that we are complaining.

I knew there was a reason I didn't have any interest in joining a frat! I never did like the smell of singed human flesh - particularly my own. Of course this does explain a lot about Dumya's ideas about torture - if you can brand your friends, it must take methods like they used in the midlle ages to extract confessions - you know, draw and quarter, cut out their intestines, hot oil in places you don't what it.

no surprises, indeed. isn't this the sadist who killed small animals, pulled the wings off flies and laughed at people on death row begging for their lives?

More and more we are seeing the classic signs of a true sociopath. This complete lack of empathy with others is just one of the more blatant.

Figuring out why El Shrubbo is like he is isn't much of a problem.

You don't have to go past Babs "Beautiful Mind" Bush to learn where his utter lack of empathy comes from.

I didn't check, is this one of the tortures considered OK in the new bill? Maybe he would like to do it himself to the detainees.

Peacechick said it before I could - Torture: To endure the Bush administration.

We need to do a coat hanger procedure on him. I volunteer.

No surprises here folks. We are just the latest victims of his need to feel superior by inflicting pain on someone or something unable to defend itself.

He's told us all along, the signs have always been right out there in the open, "elect me and I'll be the worst President ever!"

The real shame is that Babs didn't ride the rusty coathanger express after she realized that GHWB didn't pull out like he said he would.
