A Brand New Day

Isn’t this one of the prettiest new days you have ever seen? I took this photo from the balcony of our room when we were in Ft. Lauderdale the other week. I’m pretty sure that looking at it for a couple of minutes will lower your blood pressure a couple of notches.

The only sounds you hear on a morning like this are the occasional calls from early rising gulls and the gentle waves as they caress the beach. Simply Mother Nature and the rhythm that is good for the soul.

Very nice tranquil setting. Looking at the Earth Mother often will relieve tension. Yesterday, Shutterwi and I were in the woods. I walked around among the bright colors of Fall as he carried his camera and took pictures.

Thanks, PoP.....nice way to start the day.

Peace to all.

Emmmm Good Morning, Stretch Yawn. That is the kind of dawn that deserves leisurely coffee on the veranda. Just beautiful.

Sure made me feel better than staring out the parking lot of the Holday Inn here in Dyersburg, TN. It is a beautiful day here though so I shouldn't complain. Definitely an early fall day.

When first looking at your lovely photo, I felt a sense of peace and calm and knew that all is essentially well in the universe...

That was followed by a bout of envy and misery as I get prepared for a Canadian winter :)

I must say, that if there is one thing I miss about FLA, it's that.

From my place I can see the mountains in the park. And it's just a short drive to the spit where I go to be at one with the cosmos and get away from the monkeys.
