Opinion by Fred the Cat

The McCain campaign thought they couldn’t top their great idea of placing Sen. McCain in front of lime green background for that god-awful speech a few weeks back, but this week, when they came up with the bright idea of posing a man who looks like cottage cheese, in the cheese aisle of a grocery store, they knew they could indeed top themselves.

Then yesterday while Senator Obama made a speech in front of a 200,000 people in Germany, the same McCain geniuses placed Senator McCain in front of a German restaurant here in the US. It was lame and sort of pathetic.

Umm, I’m just a frisky feline, but even I know bad ideas when I see them. These guys need to get a copy of Campaigning for Dummies.

Have a great weekend with your best buddies

Sincerely,
Fred the Cat (the cat who loves you guys!)

It is frightening to watch the McSame campaign implode so early and so completely Fred. Then again they have absolutely no where to go but up.

fred honey, i am cynical enough to believe that they don't want mcsenile to win because they have absolutely no idea how to clean up this awful mess- and want to leave it in the dems lap. that way, they can come back in an election cycle or so- and say- 'see, you need us. dems can't do anything right' and would probably win because that's part and parcel what happened in 2000 (along with chicanery up the yin yang)

Yep. Fiasco. Can we take four more years of this.

Referring to McCain as a Dummie is an insult to Dummies.

If McCain went to Germany, he'd want visit both of them, East and West.

Have a great weekend, Fred

Fred, first let me say that you are sharing company laying next to an outstanding tome on the U.S. occupation of Iraq. Who am I kidding? You've probably read it cover to cover. Sadly, I'm sure the same can't said for the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee, who, one would think would exhibit a great deal more sympathy and concern for the men and women sent for dubious (and I'm being generous) reasons. Yes, Fred your contrast between the Obama speech and McCain photo-op does crystallize the pathetic state of the latter's campaign. I just hope that Obama can live up to his billing. His vote on FISA has dimmed my view of him.

Fred, have you considered running for office? Maybe not President, as you probably aren't old enough. You are certainly smarter than most of what I have seen out there!

I'm in agreement with spartacus [and you, Fred] on Obama's FISA vote-- talk about NOT listening to the people who've put him where he is and pandering to the deep pockets!

otoh, I just can't get over how many ways the MSM is finding to dis Obama for being well received in the rest of the world.
Hello! I find it rather refreshing to hear someone from this country getting cheers rather than boos.
and, if he's going to get anything done after he's elected, he's gonna need Europe's cooperation.
xxx
ewww!!! I just assumed he'll be elected!
I'm running outside, turning around 3 times and spitting right now!!

Oh dear, Betmo's theory scares me. Not just because the country's so screwed up, but that people (repugs of course) would be that cynical and selfish. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

What betmo said. Their red meat minions may be stoopid, but they'll gladly think long term about the health of their grand scam.

They're trying to be snarky but it comes across like your grandfather when he tried to be a smartass- like a grouchy old man.

McSame's campaign CAN sink lower

Wait till they pose him at "Shady Pines" lying about healthcare/Medicare. He'll look like one of the residents.

the fact that there are people that will (still) vote for him speaks volumes. he comes off sounding as stupid as dumbya... and maybe that's what his supporters like?

have a nice weekend, fred.

Betmo
Never thought of that but you know I expect much worse. They will pull something to keep their mess going. Today I posted on congress's secret meeting in March to declare martial Law if things keep getting worse as they are and will get much worse but I already said that. Take cared!
