Back home and a surprise for Mr. Pop
We’re all back home safe and sound. The Pops said they had a great time as always.
Here’s something that happened at the veterinarian’s office when Mr. Pop came to pick me up. When he arrived the vet told him that she had checked me out, I had been given my shots and everything was fine. Then she said they had bathed me. Mr. Pop was surprised because he had not asked that they give me a bath.
The vet said there had been one problem encountered as a result of the bath. She went into another room and brought out my carrier. Mr. Pop looked inside the carrier and instead of seeing me, he saw a tiny black and white kitten. The vet said, “I’m afraid we shrunk Fred the Cat.
Pretty funny, huh?
Pop will be busy this weekend doing a mountain of laundry while Mr. Pop will be mowing the extra tall grass. But they both have some great memories of last week to think about as they do their chores.
Have a great weekend and if you bathe your cat, be careful he or she doesn’t shrink.
Sincerely,
Fred the Cat (the cat who loves you guys!)

Funny Fred. Did you bring Mini-you back home?
huh- who knew vets had senses of humor? :) good to have you home fred- and you too pop. :)
Hey fred, check with the vet to see if we can use that shrinking process on certain humans who live on the east coast, about halfway between you guys and Maine.
Gotta love a vet with a sense of humor!
Welcome Back.
I saw a cat getting a bath one time. It was scary and bloody. I don't recommend it being done by hand,
I guess you could throw them in the washing machine. The gentle cycle (of course) and cold water should reduce the chances of shrinkage. Drip Dry.
Your cat might have an bad attitude and be a little miffed at you, or in other words, they will treat you the same as always.
It's interesting that Miles jumps up on my lap just as Fred appears onscreen.
cute.
That's a good joke on Mr. Pop. Welcome back. BTW we liberated all of your liquor while you were gone.
That was funny, fred. The vet has a good sense of humor. Welcome home to the the Pops.
Ha!
Put Fred in the drier he'll be fine.
oh fred, aren't people just the funniest? Make sure you lounge on some of that just washed laundry...it's sure to make PoPs day!
Well Fred you look better for the wear. Pretty comfy back in your bed! pops glad you had a great time. I am still on vacation looking at the Vacation picture. Beautiful!
You are one funny cat.
your kittie has a v peeved lookin' face there!!
The vet bathed you? How many stitches did they have to have to stop their bleeding afterwards?
is it just me or does Fred look more put out than usual?
I know _I_ would be if I were of the feeeeline persuasion and some mere human had the audacity of trying to bathe me.
or, maybe that's just me.
that's funny! welcome back.
ROFL! That's great.
Glad to see Fred in his usual form though! ;-)
Welcome back.
