Fred the Cat copes with lots of “ducks”

What a weird week this has been! First, Pop’s computer connection went on the fritz, then her little coo coo clock followed suit, and finally her icemaker began to fail.

You do not want to be around this house when Pop can’t use the computer and can’t rely on sufficient ice at happy hour. You hear more “ducks” than you can imagine.

I have kept a low profile, my friends (said in my best John McCain cat voice) I decided she didn’t need anymore frustration, so I have been on my best cat behavior. No hairballs littering the floor. No teasing her pretending that I’m going to bite her. I think I should get an extra bag of Cosmic catnip for my sweetness and understanding, don’t you?

This weekend the clock will go to the clock doctor and the man will come next week to fix the icemaker. Hopefully the “ducks” can take a rest real soon.

I hope your week has been lots better than ours has been. Here’s to each of you having a grand weekend filled with fun.

Sincerely,
Fred the Cat (the cat who loves you guys)

Have a good weekend - filled with ice and duck free! You are very good to PoP, Fred and I know if you could make it all better, you would.

Tell PoP I was laboring under the weight of an important post on peace, which you as a cat can understand. As a result, I am late here and I hope she comes back to add her own wishes for all this madness to simply be over!

Peace to you Fred the Cat, from FranIam and BooBoo, the blogger and the other cat who love you!

Some weeks are like that Fred. You just got to roll with the punches and hope that the catnip will make it all better. It usually does.

You are such an understanding kitty-cat, Fred. Do you teach long-distance? Our cat needs a few lessons in compassion. Everything's always about him him him. Can you believe it? Have a great weekend.

PoP, check the water filter on your refridge. If its blocked, your ice maker won't work as it's "starving" for water. It took a technician's service call about two years ago to learn that trick. In the meanwhile, give Fred an extra treat for being such a good cat.

Fred, as always, I'm so impressed with your writing skill. My dog can't even figure out how to get onto the computer chair. Dogs...they just don't get it!

I left a gift for you and POP at my blog.

Ah, Cosmic Catnip for everyone! You definitely deserve enough to put you in your happiest happy place, Fred. Way to care for PoP.

BTW, tomorrow I'm going to a nearby lake to look for migrating ducks. I'll think of you there!

oh, Fred--
the PoP's are SO lucky to have a cat like you allowing them to live in your house!

don't tell em I told you, but lots of cats would've taken advantage of the situation by getting caught in a tree or something.
so tell them two crows said extra catnip is definitely called for!
and I'm sure the ducks will be migrating soon.

My goodness the ole pop house has certainly been under a black cloud lately! get the ducks outa dodge or do some exhorsism to that house. You'd have thought pop would have cleaned them all out with the computer being broken!
just not enough catnip in the house I suppose!
have A blessed weekend! tomorrow is another day!

What a cute cat! What happened to your dog? Oh, that's right - he killed himself! I would kill myself to if I had to deal with you bitching about Bush all the time.

I wouldn't hold my breath Fred. Spring is on the way, and the ducks will soon be out in full force.

On a side note, Anon, are you saying you'll kill yourself if we continue to bitch about Bush?

Everyone altogether now, one...two...three...

BUSH SUCKS!! I HATE BUSH!!! BUSH IS THE WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY!!!!!

Are you dead yet?

If so, blink once, if not, try harder.

Maybe your dad will help, you still live with your parents, right?

In fact, does your dad know you're harassing people on his dime?

He's not going to be happy with you.

"Junior!!"

Ah oh...

Oh, I left this comment "Anonymously."

Wooooooo, look at me, I'm spooky, no one knows who I am, I'm a big tough Ghost, BOOOOOOOOO!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha-

Weenie Boy

Love you PoP-

hope that things are "normal" there soon. :)

i also hope that the anonymous hater finds something else to do. like fall into the abyss, or something. he's vastly outnumbered by bush bashers here.
