The Birth of a Blossom

In honor of Mother’s Day weekend, I wanted to post this photo of the birth of a Gardenia blossom taken in my backyard on the birth of this day.

Happy Mothers day. This is a beautiful picture! So, do you have kids? I am the only child my parents have. I kind of like it this way but sometimes I wish I had a bro or sis.

Happy Mothers Day to every mother here and everyone else's mother. (You all had one of course.)

Without mothers, well... there'd be nobody!

My mother is with us for the weekend (5 hour drive) which is really great - I promised not to serve her breakfast in bed...she lived through enough burnt toast, cold coffee and tipped over vases when I was a kid.

Happy Mom's day, everyone! What a beautiful flower, the gardenia. Green, so dark green leaves with creamy white flowers that are so fragrant! Love them. Miss them. Have a great day, Y'all!

Wow-beautiful! Wish I had the climate for that. Maybe when I get up the nerve to head south... I'm tired of cold.

Thank you for sharing the picture.

Have a great day.

Very sweet! I took a tour of my garden - if you'd call it that - to discover my baby Larch has once again sprouted needles for the year. I may have to move him soon, but a suitable home isn't available until I do some much-neede stump grinding! (out with the old, in with the new as it were...)
