This year certainly flew by. My husband reminded me about the Derby today. I'm not a huge racing fan but I always try to watch the Triple Crown.

My 7 year-old daughter picked the 2nd place horse correctly. Had I placed a few dollars on her hunch, I'd be too rich to write this.
I almost feel guilty that I lost her college fund by betting on the wrong horse.
(Note: I'm kidding...about the college fund part. She's totally on her own with that.)
