Sunday with Fred the Cat

Fred the Cat, reminisces about his long ago days as a cat of the streets. He compares those days to the present. He no longer goes outside and he no longer fears the dangers of the street life. He no longer goes without food when he’s hungry. Fred probably knows that today, in his safe and loving home, he has it made.

Ahhh. Fred has company from here: Rorschach (Rory) rescued from a dumpster 8 years ago; Mittens aka Little Witch (12 claws on front paws and not afraid to use them) rescued from abuse after her tail was broken; and Ki Ki Boom aka Cowardly Custard, taken in when his former mistress had him headed to the pound.

I now must look the other way no matter how dire the feline straits might be or end up the crazy lady on the block.

What a cute puddy cat!

Ahem. My cat Jade has informed me that he is a very handsome cat. Seems she feels cuteness is more appropriate for kittens.

My little fellows, Eli & Dimitri, have turned up their noses & walked away from the computer.

How're you doing PoP?

Have you heard that MoMu is now back home after her second surgery at Mayo?

Hey, that looks like the crazy cat who was recently served a restraining order...I better notify Homeland Security...Except while they like pussy at the DHS, they prefer it to be under the age of 14...

If Fred's not going out on the street, that means Fred's not getting any p*ssy. That makes Fred a very sad cat. Let Fred go outside, PoP!

Hmmmm, at first I read the name Fred and Cat in the by-line, I got excited. I was sure it said Fat Freddy's Cat. You know, the one that left surprises in Fat Freddy's shoes? (The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers) Anyone remember him? What was his name, (besides Fat Freddy's Cat?)

Hey PoP,
great picture! I have 3 shelter cats...Ami, Cookie, and Phoenix.
I let them out...but I have an almost 3 acre yard in the woods.
Rick saw the dog officer at the dump this weekend with a little dog he was taking to the local shelter...he fell in love with that mutt. It's all he's talked about for 2 days. It looks like we might be adding a dog to our family very soon.

I keep trying to remind MY cat that he has "made it." He just yawns.

Looks like his name should be Riley... because that is the life he is living. Animals cannot get too much love.
