Another Careless Shooting by this Administration
Just as Cheney, while on a hunting trip, shot a fellow hunter and got himself in a fecal load of trouble, yesterday it was bush’s turn to fire off a careless round of words.
Who was the idiot who loaded his gun? Who the hell told him to shoot off his mouth and threaten a veto? Should have had the safety on that baby.
With a stamp of his foot and a grimace on his face he drew a very deep and wide line in the US sand.
Now he can’t go back. Without careful consideration he placed himself in a no win situation. Definitely damned if he does and pretty much a wimp if he doesn’t.
If Rove told him to take this heavy handed stand, Rove has lost his mind. If this was bush’s decision alone, he has lost a few more of that 39% who think he’s a straight American shooter.

I encourage Bush to speak off the cuff as much as possible. Everytime he does, he blows away more and more of his nutjob supporters. Do we dare confront him now? Wonder if anyone will - face to face.

Yeah, this one's got even the hardcore Bushie's scratching their heads. It's a godsend for Republicans running for congress in the fall, though. Gives 'em an easy way to distance themselves from Bush. So who knows? That may be Karl's doing too! Bush is a dead duck. He's got lots of live ducks to get re-elected.
Funny you should say that about Rove. Just today I was thinking about the Fitzgerald investigation broadening to include Cheney and wondered how long it would take Rove and Cheney to turn on Bush. They created him, and I'd bet money they would scewer him before they let themselves fall. Things are so ludicrous in DC, it doesn't appear some of it isn't orchestrated. It'll be an interesting next few months.
