What does that mean Senator Clinton?

“On Monday, the joint chiefs chairman told The Chicago Tribune that "homosexual acts between individuals are immoral. " Yesterday, he released a statement saying the comment reflected his "personal, moral views" but didn't retract it.

Clinton was asked about that yesterday during a segment to be aired on today's "Good Morning America. " She replied, "Well, I am going to leave that to others to conclude. "
-Newsday-

Okay if you’re leaving it to “others to conclude”, I’ll step up. I concluded a long time ago that homosexual activity is not immoral. However, I do believe that having to send injured soldiers back into a war, a war your vote helped initiate, because we just don’t have enough healthy soldiers to fight it is the essence of immoral.

Did you expect anything less from her? Or anyone else?
There's a representative in the East Bay near SF that has finally come out saying he's an Atheist.
Now, once those walls come tumbling down, perhaps we'll get somewhere when these people can't hide behind religion?

Immoral? The whole Iraq fiasco has been immoral and unethical from the beginning, from time they started planning it at the beginning of the Bush administration (before 9/11).

It is immoral and unethical to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent bystanders for the sham of the security of the U.S.

It is immoral and unethical to send our National Guard to fight and die in a foreign country that was not a threat to our homeland.

How 'bout the fact that the National Guard was created for NATIONAL use. It was NEVER meant to be used out of this country.

Morality is such a flexible concept, isn't it? Especially when one is out beating the bushes for votes.

Here's Clinton's Problem: Terry Mcauliffe

Clinton hired the same bozos that have been losing elections for Democrats for the past 9 years.

She's triangulating and moving center-right, a view endorsed by the DLC and the likes of Mcauliffe, Begala, Carville, etc.

It will cost her the election. These people did the same to Al Gore instead of letting him be himself. Granted, Gore won in 2000, but if he was allowed to be himself we would not have had such a mess in Florida.

Triangulation is the opiate of the centrists and will ultimately lead to their demise politically.

Ok, now I am going to puke:

Senator Clinton: If elected president, we will stay in Iraq

"Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton foresees a “remaining military as well as political mission” in Iraq, and says that if elected president, she would keep a reduced but significant military force there to fight Al Qaeda, deter Iranian aggression, protect the Kurds and possibly support the Iraqi military," reports the New York Times.

Hillary might as well not open her mouth, since she never-ever says anything of import. Can she be any more repugnant and soul-less? Yes, I guess, but I don't want to see it.

We've been living in an immoral morass since the day Bush stole the presidency. Even when I think it can't get worse, it does.

She wants to keep troops there. The woman is just plain stupid! She is so center of the road, that I think we should start driving the bus down the middle of that road.

Well done, PoP.

For some time, the purveyors of "morality" have been telling all of us whom we should hate, all the while giving themselves permission to murder and torture Iraqis... and Americans... as they see fit.

It saddens and angers me to see Sen. Clinton, if not joining the Bushies outright in an anti-gay position or a pro-Iraq-war position, at least enabling them to claim bipartisan support for their hateful crap. Clinton needs to resume her message of "bring the troops home" ... wasn't she saying that mere weeks ago? And every Democrat should condemn homophobia wherever it rears its ugly head.

see- this is why madam senator will not only NOT get elected president- but she probably won't get re-elected senator either. folks in upstate new york for the most part are conservative so she doesn't get many votes here. now- she is moving so far right she may as well register repub.

when i read today that she would keep troops in iraq, if elected, it only solidified my views. she is bought and paid for. owned.
as for her non-opinions on gays, same same same.
it sure would have been great to have a great woman candidate for president.we don't.

On the gay issue sge geta a Quack Award for ducking because she lacked courage to reveal her real view, although not that she has seen the reaction she has received from it, she flip-flopped to saying there's nothing immoral about it.

On the troops, her "bring then home" position is looking more like "stay the course". :-(

great article, PoP

You want immoral? Well here is something very immoral.

Collateral Damage

This is immoral and it continues even now while we complain about our elected officials.

It appears that they all are immoral. Injured soldiers being sent back to the middle of a civil war, Iraqi's fleeing their own county to stay alive and we have a bunch of Fascist Nazi Republicans refusing to stand up for our constitution or country.

What the Hell kind of country have we become?

How in the Hell do our elected officials sleep at night?

Can anyone tell me?

Sorry for the rant, but check the link and see how you feel after reading it.

God Bless.

I wish Hillery would hang it up.

She hasn't a chance of being elected and she is wasting lots and lots of money (that could be spent on someone viable)......and everybody's time.

She can never win over the Religious Right...or swing voters for that matter. She needs some advisors who are willing to tell her the truth!!!
But she seems to float along in her own ego bubble just life W!!!

I don't think it's immoral, but who am I to decide what is and is not immoral about people loving other people? Assuming there''s a god, and assuming god's asexual (which I do not seeas much of a stretch if there is indeed a god), god shouldn't give a shit and neither should we.

Howdy,

I saw in some other blog, you wondered if people wonder if America has gone crazy.

Well we do think it has.

The extent of undemocratic behavior among the supposedly representatives of the progressive America is just baffling! But I think we can thank AIPAC for that, and for financing America democracy!!!
